More than a wedding venue

Every celebration that matters to your family

We built this barn to hold the days people remember for the rest of their lives. That is not only weddings, and we plan in English and Spanish so every generation of your family is part of the conversation.

Under the pergola

The same spot, from your vows to the last dance

The timber pergola was raised by hand on the property. You say your vows beneath it in the afternoon with the pasture behind you, and the same beams are strung with light by the time the music starts.

A couple exchanging vows beneath the timber arbor, guests seated on either side, the pasture and fence line beyond.
Afternoon Open to the pasture, with the animals grazing behind the arbor.
The same pergola at dusk, hung with string lights and flower baskets against a deep blue sky.
After dark String lights the length of the beams, and lanterns down the drive.

Michigan weather does what it wants. Every ceremony has an indoor plan at no extra cost, and you decide the morning of, not months ahead.

It is a real farm

Your guests will meet the neighbors

The pasture sits just past the ceremony arbor, which means the animals are in the background of your photographs whether you planned it or not. Most couples end up walking down for a portrait at the fence. Nobody regrets it.

A peacock in full plumage crossing the pale gravel drive in front of the tree line.
The peacock Crosses the drive on his own schedule and has never once been asked to move.
A bride and groom standing at the paddock fence beside a draft horse.
The horses A two minute walk from the barn doors, and worth the trip in a wedding dress.
A brown and white goat standing on a platform under an oak, looking straight at the camera.
The goats Extremely interested in you, your flowers, and anything you are holding.

There are cows and a donkey out there too, plus chickens who run the place. Come walk the fence line and meet all of them.

Before the doors open

Two suites, and neither one is an afterthought

Getting ready takes most of the day. Both halves of the wedding party get a real room to do it in, on site, with no driving back and forth to a hotel.

Bridal suite

Mirrors, light, and room for everyone

A full run of vanity stations under proper bulbs, so hair and makeup happen where the light is right instead of in a bathroom.

  • Lit vanity mirrors along the wall
  • Hanging space for the dress and the bridesmaids
  • Seating for the whole party
  • Private, with its own door
The groom's suite with leather couches, a games table, a foosball table and a basketball hoop on the wall.
Groom's suite

Somewhere they actually want to be

Most venues give the groomsmen a folding chair in a storage room. This one has a fireplace, leather couches, and enough to do that nobody wanders off twenty minutes before the ceremony.

  • Foosball, pool and a games table
  • Basketball and target games on the wall
  • Leather seating and a fireplace
  • Mirror and hanging space for suits
